Hygiene Mentor – Clinical & Leadership Role

We are seeking a Hygiene Mentor—a unique hybrid role for a licensed hygienist who will balance clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities. This position is designed for someone who not only wants to deliver outstanding hygiene care, but also has the vision and drive to elevate an entire hygiene department.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead & Mentor – Guide, coach, and develop a team of hygienists to reach their full clinical and professional potential.
- Build Systems & Strategy – Take ownership of the hygiene department’s SOPs, including verbiage, patient communication, treatment planning, clinical flow, and overall patient experience.
- Collaborate with Leadership – Meet regularly with the Executive Team to align on growth strategy, profitability, KPIs, and future opportunities.
- Advance Clinical Excellence – Support our focus areas including myofunctional therapy, pediatric and adult airway, joint/TMJ care, and restorative/cosmetic dentistry.
- Balance Clinical & Administrative – Split time between providing direct patient care and managing the systems, strategy, and team development that keep hygiene thriving.
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed hygienist with proven leadership experience—ideally supervising and mentoring hygienists or managing teams of 7–10 individuals.
- Strong grasp of business fundamentals: P&L, metrics, KPIs, and profitability.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to create clarity, consistency, and accountability across a team.
- Passion for innovation in dentistry and familiarity with advanced care areas (airway, myofunctional therapy, TMJ, cosmetics).
- A leader who inspires trust, collaboration, and growth.

Dental Hygienist
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and preventative care.
- Assess and document patient oral health conditions, including examining the teeth, gums, and mouth for signs of disease or damage.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care.
- Collaborate with dentist and other team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile environment, adhering to OSHA and infection control standards.
Business Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to all patients who contact the office
- Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure Doctor and Hygienist have a productive schedule
- Verify insurance information and handle billing and payment transactions, following up with any denied claims
- Provide treatment plan consultations that address patient concerns and objections, resulting in case acceptance
- Maintain a collection rate at 98% of production or higher by effectively managing the revenue cycle (collecting at time of service, working insurance aging reports, sending statements, making collection calls to past due accounts)
Dental Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Assist our dentists during various procedures, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for our patients
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, addressing any concerns and ensuring they feel at ease throughout their visit
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the treatment rooms and equipment, following strict infection control protocols
- Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and other relevant details in the patient records
